Wexted Welcome Chris Sequeira and launch Melbourne Office
Wexted announce the opening of a permanent home in Melbourne, and welcome our new Partner, Chris Sequeira who will lead our presence in that market.
Following our recent announcement regarding expanding into Brisbane and Rebecca Wilson joining the Wexted team, we are delighted to reveal the opening of our office in Melbourne, and welcome Chris Sequeira as our new Partner and leader!
The creation of a permanent presence in Queensland, and now Victoria, follows seven years of successful operation and a lengthy back-story in Sydney. The message from our clients is that our quality of offering and client reach, supports expanding our physical presence and showing broader capability nationally.

The addition of Chris Sequeira as a Partner substantially advances that capability. Chris has worked in the insolvency industry for 20 years, including periods at Grant Thornton, BDO and PPB, and most recently at PwC as a Director in Business Recovery.
INTRODUCING CHRIS SEQUEIRA
- Experienced in all aspects of insolvency and restructuring
- 20 years’ experience, with strong industry experience in retail and FMCG, hospitality and food service, manufacturing, construction, and superannuation Sectors
- Pre-lending reviews, monitoring reports, expert opinion reports, litigation assessment and support roles
- Experienced in reviews requiring assessment of corporate governance and optimising structures
- Strong understanding of NFP and aged care / NDIS Sectors
- Treasurer of the Board, and chair of the Finance Audit Risk Committee of Sacred Heart Mission Inc
Chris adds significantly to our capability and client serviceability. He is a passionate supporter of the Collingwood Football Club, an avid cricket fan, and has a great and personal interest in not for profit and community activities.
