NEWS & INSIGHTS
Welcoming Rebecca Wilson and launch of the Brisbane Office
Wexted are pleased to announce the opening of a permanent home in Brisbane, and welcome our new Director, Rebecca Wilson who will lead our presence in that market.
As part of Wexted’s objective to improve our reach and demonstrate broader capability, we are pleased to announce the opening of our office in Brisbane, and welcome Rebecca Wilson as our new leader!
One of the messages from our clients has been how the firm responds to the need for national resourcing and capability. Whilst we have managed projects successfully from Sydney, there is a recognition the firm must react to demand and provide capacity and solutions in markets that best reflect our clients' needs.
We are very excited to launch in Brisbane and delighted Rebecca will represent us as a leader.
About Rebecca Wilson
Rebecca has had a distinguished career in insolvency and restructuring stretching back over 15 years, principally in Brisbane as well as Melbourne and Perth. She was most recently at Grant Thornton, and prior to that spent many years at EY, KPMG and having begun her career at Deloitte. She has focussed on insolvency and restructuring throughout that time and is highly credentialed in both formal and restructuring advisory work. Brisbane born and bred, Rebecca prides herself on her understanding of insolvency, the importance of communication and teamwork.
"I am excited to join a growing team at Wexted and lead the expansion into Queensland. I look forward to helping develop that capability and both providing high quality services to the Brisbane clients, growing our team locally as well as leading jobs nationally."
